Elton John Gets His Own Ice Cream
In honor of Elton John finally performing in their home state of Vermont (he's performed in every other state), ice creamers Ben & Jerry have announced "Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road," a new limited edition flavor named for Elton's famous Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album. This isn't the first time Ben & Jerry's has created a musically influenced flavor--everyone knows "Cherry Garcia" and "Phish Food." This got me thinking--what other musical ice cream flavors should get made? Here's a few to get you started:
- "Pablo Honey" - Radiohead ice cream
- "Blue" - Joni Mitchell-inspired ice cream (perhaps a mixture of blueberries and blue raspberries?)
- "Ne-Yo Politan" - self-explanitory
- "Mike Doughty's Golden Delicious" - a cookie dough/apple ice cream
Ok...so maybe I'm not that clever--what can you come up with?
