If you're among the tens of people who, like me, dearly miss New Jack Swing, occasionally get the chorus from MoKenStef's "He's Mine" stuck in your head for no good reason, or wonder how Next made a song about dancefloor boners the biggest jam of 1998, Mixtape Maestro Presents: '90s R&B Junkie is about to be your new favorite blog.

Thanks for posting the info. I am creating a channel on Shortform that's dedicated to 90's music, and I've used a few mentioned artists from this blog on my channel. You can check it out here: http://shrt.fm/kEjl33 Thanks again!

Those guys were very successful during 90's. Their music was listened everywhere, due to the fact the melodies were a combination of emotions. My favorite was "Put your hands up on the air",it's simply fabulous.

I used to love New Jack Swing and Teddy Riley back in the day. Guy, Al B Sure, Christopher Williams and Johnny Kemp were just some of the naems that graced my turntables. I loved the songs and the R&B music videos which accompanied them. Those R&B music videos are still classics in my book and it was a great time for R&B music in general with so many talented R&B singers around. This is a great R&B music news story so thanks for posting it and bringing back so many wonderful memories.
