In terms of its content, Ben's right, but I have to credit Blender for maintaining a stable of quality of writing that, year in and year out, practically set the bar for high-profile music mags. When I sat atop editorial staffs in the print world, I'd constantly refer aspiring music writers (and those I was already publishing and who needed the reminder) to Blender. Their writers, with help from their editors, of course, kept the pitch at a level worth emulating: from thumbnail reviews to cover stories, there was nary an unnecessary word. Of course, back to Ben's point, I'd also tell them to hold their noses regarding the content...

***Yawn*** It won't be missed.
