The Mentalists, a band of innovative British ladies, have done a magnificent cover of "Kids" by MGMT, played entirely on iPhones and iPods.
I've got several of these apps on my phone, but haven't managed to pull together anything close to this cool. Have you?

There's a piece in WIRED this month, a student 'orchestra' using these things with speakers attached to their hands. (That way, the sound comes from the direction of the 'instrument', you see.)

These girls are great. I've got quite a few applications on my phone also, but I've just learned to dial the phone. Maybe within the next few years I can get one of my great nephews or great nieces to teach me how to use this phone. They pick up all electronic gizmos fast.
